The Use of Your Voice in Hypnosis Click Here for More

The Use of Your VoiceCan you remember a time when someone yelled at you? It’s needless to say that there was a certain voice tone that they used. The use of your voice is important when hypnotising people and is relatively simple to master. When you say something with your voice tone ‘up’, it is the tone usually reserved for questions. When you say something on a very flat tone, it is the tone usually reserved for statements. When your voice drops ‘down’, this is a command tone. So when you are hypnotising people, you can take something that would perhaps be worded like a question - but use your tone in a way that it comes across as a command. For example, if you say the words “Imagine your hands are locked tightly together”, the best tone to state this in would be the command tone. Right from the start when you begin speaking to the observers/audience, you want to build their compliance by consistently monitoring how you use your tone. By the time you get round to hypnotising them, their unconscious has picked up clearly on your use of intonation and will comply.
