Thanks for the Raise
The boss calls me into his office late one night. I had been in his office before but not under these circumstances. It was late in the evening and I had been working for several hours and he was still in his office at the same time. Before I could get to my car he wanted me to pack and check los angeles flights for one leaving this particular night. He kept most of the trip a secret from me but once I got to my destination I was put in charge of managing our offices. With that plane ticket I got one big salary increase.
