Be Wary Of The Wording In A Real Estate Ad
If you look for homes on various websites and in the paper you often see somewhere in the description the words “motivated seller”, but what does that actually mean. The truth is, not much. The biggest mistake buyer make when they see this type of ad is to assume that is means the seller is desperate. If you think about it then it does not make much sense. Why would anyone encourage low offers by using this kind of wording in any real estate market. What the phrase usually means is that the seller is trying to drum up more interest and if they are lucky maybe even get multiple offers.
