Once I knew this guy that had this gift for misdirection. He would use his speech to spin these mesmerizing amazing tales that would have people guessing at the very content of reality. Naturally, he became an accomplished magician, as his skills naturally lent themselves to that particular vocation. Of course, he would occasionally demonstrate some magic tricks revealed, but they way he described them was so convoluted none of us could ever remember how to do them, even though we followed along pretty well along the way, at least we thought we did. But of course, he may have must been presenting an illusion inside of an illusion, as we weren’t sure exactly what was happening.
