Are Certain Dogs More Likely to Have Canine Bladder Issues?
We have been trying to decide which breed of dog we want. I am partial to a smaller dog, such as a Maltese or a Yorkshire Terrier. However, my husband says we need to get a dog that is bigger because small dogs tend to develop canine bladder problems as they get older. I don’t know if this is true, or if this is just his way of talking me into getting a Beagle or a Basset Hound instead. I would like to hear what the experiences have been of people who have owned either a Maltese or a Yorkie for many years.
